Delivery Policy
This Delivery Policy governs the delivery and collection of goods purchased through the Packlife Store website (“Website”).
This Website is operated by Ardo Productions (Pty) Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Policy must be read together with the Terms of Sale, Terms of Use, and Returns & Refunds Policy, all of which form part of the contract of sale between the Customer and the Company.
By placing an order on the Website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out in this Delivery Policy.
At checkout, Customers may select one of the following fulfilment options:
2.1 Courier Delivery to a Nominated Address
2.2 Collection from a Designated Packlife Gym Location
The availability of each option may vary depending on product type, location, or operational constraints.
DELIVERY METHOD
Courier delivery is effected via third-party courier service providers appointed by the Company.
The Company does not perform deliveries itself and relies on independent courier partners to fulfil delivery orders.
DELIVERY FEES
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout and may vary depending on:
• Delivery address;
• Distance;
• Size or weight of the order;
• Courier service selected.
Delivery fees are clearly displayed prior to checkout and must be accepted by the Customer before payment is processed.
FREE DELIVERY
Free delivery will apply in the following circumstances:
• Orders with a total value exceeding R2,000 (two thousand Rand); or
• Orders selected for collection from designated Packlife gym locations.
Free delivery applies strictly in accordance with this Policy and may be withdrawn or amended at the Company’s discretion, subject to existing accepted orders.
DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Estimated delivery timeframes provided on the Website or at checkout are indicative only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates.
Delivery timeframes may be affected by factors beyond the Company’s control, including but not limited to:
• Courier delays;
• Weather conditions;
• Public holidays;
• Incorrect or incomplete delivery details.
The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party courier services, provided reasonable steps have been taken to facilitate delivery.
DELIVERY ADRESS & RESPONSIBILITY
The Customer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and accessible delivery address.
The Company shall not be liable for:
• Failed deliveries due to incorrect information;
• Additional costs incurred due to re-delivery;
• Loss or delay caused by inaccurate or incomplete delivery details.
TRANSFER OF RISK
Risk in goods delivered via courier transfers to the Customer upon delivery to the nominated address, as contemplated in the Terms of Sale.
Proof of delivery recorded by the courier shall constitute prima facie evidence of delivery.
COLLECTION LOCATIONS
Customers may elect to collect their orders free of charge from the following designated collection points:
• Packlife Wanderers
21 North St, Illovo, Sandton, 2196
• Packlife Sandton
110 Olympia Ave, Parkmore, Sandton, 2196
These locations are provided solely as collection points and do not constitute retail premises of the Company.
COLLECTION PROCESS
Customers will be notified electronically when their order is ready for collection.
Collection may only occur during the normal operating hours of the relevant Packlife gym.
Customers (or their authorised representatives) may be required to present:
• Proof of identity; and
• Proof of order or order confirmation.
COLLECTION TIMEFRAMES
Orders must be collected within 7 (seven) days from the date on which the Customer is notified that the order is ready for collection.
If an order is not collected within this period, the Company reserves the right to:
• Cancel the order and refund the purchase price (less any reasonable handling costs); or
• Charge reasonable storage or handling fees, where applicable.
TRANSFER OF RISK AT COLLECTION
Risk in goods transfers to the Customer upon collection of the goods from the designated location.
The Company shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after collection.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AT COLLECTION LOCATIONS
Packlife gym locations act solely as collection points and assume no responsibility for the condition, storage, or handling of goods beyond making them available for collection.
The Company shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered at or in connection with the collection location, except where required by law.
Where delivery fails due to circumstances attributable to the Customer, including but not limited to absence, refusal, or incorrect details, the Customer may be liable for additional delivery costs.
The Company reserves the right to cancel uncollected orders in accordance with clause 4.3 above.
Where an order contains multiple items, the Company reserves the right to deliver items separately.
Split deliveries do not constitute multiple contracts and do not affect the validity of the original order.
The Company shall not be liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Natural disasters;
• Industrial action;
• Courier service disruptions;
• Government-imposed restrictions.
The Company may amend this Delivery Policy from time to time.
Any amendments will take effect upon publication on the Website.
This Delivery Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
